Pawn shops are the ABSOLUTE worst place to try and sell coins( or anything else).

The OP, what coins are you looking to sell?

Several on-line dealers like Gainesville Coins, Provident will be willing to purchase them.

Try and see if there is a local coin dealer in your area.

I recently inherited a LOT of old coins, about 20 gold coins, 170x old 100 bills, 30x old 50’s, and a crap load more of 20’s, 5’s and 2 dollar bills. Oh a lot of old confederate bills and silver certificate 1’s.

I know some of the coins have some value but it’s just to much to sort through.
