I worked up at the Peaks when I lived in Telluride over one summer. Hated going up there. We never once did anything in Mountain Village except work. Maybe it’s different now.

It's not like MV to Telluride is an hour away. Its a 12 minute gondola ride. With that said, this won't change a thing about Telluride and MV. The change from quiet mountain town to high end resort started well over 10 years ago. We sold our condo two years ago because the money being offered was too good to pass up on something we only used less than 10 weeks a year. Everyone we knew that was a full time or part time resident has moved out. Lots of younger new money buying, but not actually moving in.
