ESPN is true garbage. And so is Disney.

Though I don't recall how/why Brad Gaines was portrayed in the story.

Brad was the fullback for Vandy Chucky hit.

I was at that game in the end zone where it happened. Very violent hit.

He was the one that hit Chucky on the play that paralyzed him. During life after football Brad Gains would drive from Tennessee to Mississippi on a regular basis to go visit Chucky. They became friends
