My NP wife has been doing evaluations of vets applying for disability for conditions caused by burn pits in Iraq and also oilwell fires in Kuwait.
They had been previously denied.
Lots of these guys have some serious health problems-lungs,sinus,and skin issues.A lot of their health issues wouldn’t be apparent to a casual observer but doing a physical exam and reviewing their medical records, their issues are real.
Maybe the guys harmed by the burn pits weren’t all in combat jobs but they were harmed nevertheless.
Halliburton and the rest of the MIC made their millions, probably billions so I say give them disability if they have verifiable health problems.
