Unless he wants out of NOLA, then what would be the incentive for Carr to do this? The reality, if Carr's contract is touched it'll be to convert his $25M of his 30M base salary to a bonus to lower his 2024 cap hit from $35.7M to $10M. The dead money will remain the same because of guarantees and bonus money kicked down the road.
