LSU’s reasoning is so dumb considering it’s not even the same Tiger anymore. The previous Mike was “afraid” as they said. The company line is he was afraid of the fireworks when LSU runs out. Well how bout we cut the fireworks. I don’t need stupid fireworks when LSU runs out if it means Mike can be in the stadium.
But that’s not the real reason. It’s because LSU is a bunch of pussies.

It still amazes me that people clamor for it to return so much. I saw it many times growing up.
It’s a tiger in a cage that no one could even actually see.
I’ve never found myself thinking “man, I wish I could watch that moving Gerry Lane ad and the tiger cage move around the stadium again”. Bring him out on a leash and you’ll have my attention.
