I beg to differ.
At the beginning of this school year I had 112 days accumulated. Since I’m already in DROP, I was able to cash out 25 of those a few months ago. We get 10 days per year as teachers. More than half of my (female) colleagues use their allotment up every year and often get docked pay when they have to take additional days. I guess that makes me the “old head” in this scenario, but I greatly prefer my position.
