I honestly never realized how little our fanbase understood about recruiting and how many casuals flood to this board to troll. We have a terrible fanbase.

We have the dumbest fan base in college and I’m not sure it’s even close.

The glaring issue is quality of need. This years DT / NT position was average at best. We got one three star with decent up side. I think McKinley is way over rated. Yes I’ve seen some of this years games and heard first hand accounts. He definitely lacks effort and may have attitude issues. Hope he isn’t a Denver Harris type. Speaking of Harris and for that matter Chestnut, who knows. Lost Welsh all but Zy are second string. So what did we do oh yeah medium to low ranked three star corners. Best up side probably is PJ Woodland. Johnson is a wild card. We have serious trouble in coverage and tackling with what we currently have. We’re is the upgrade here on these positions. At least some 5 stars have potential to start as freshmen. The freshmen are the future and I don’t see us with a bright future in these areas. Another thing, “where is the beef”? Most of the secondary recruits are 160-165 lbs. the are getting trucked worthy in the SEC. They are two years out if they can put it on, keep it on and keep the speed. These are obvious observations.

Sure the rest of the class is great but where we needed it most did not cut it. We sucked on D this year and will next year.

We had issues with LB in coverage yet you by Peter puffers think this is a good unit. At least we have some future in this class.

Call me what you like, I called it what it is on paper and my 50 years of watching and 20 of serious recruit analysis. Not an expert but stilll informed and experienced.
