I hate how Willie keeps talking about how we need to take 40 threes a game yet we hardly ever do. Then he proceeds to bench the guys who will actually shoot the 3s in favor or defensive players who aren’t even stopping their main guy.

He doesn’t buy his own philosophy. Thats the main problem. For him its all about defense and always will be. Hes holding this team back.

He was a gritty, D type of guy. He obviously has an affinity for those type of players. His rotations make no sense at times, because of his affinity. He is going to get fired because of it. Zeller over Trey at the end for Jonas was one of the most insane moves I have watched.

His relationship with Trey and now Hawkins has always been odd. For some reason he doesn’t like offensive minded guys especially shooters. He wants those dumbass gritty guys that sometimes make 3s and other times don’t. Trey Murphy oozes potential. I honestly believe hes a future all star and hes rotting on the bench. Hawkins was a top 3 rookie and Willie can’t find minutes for him. Its absolute insanity what hes doing.

Both the lakers loss and last nights loss highlighted the difference between All-Stars and Superstars.
Lebron and Ja are superstars.
(Still comical how many here were claiming Ja would not be great—even after his ROTY season—-we’d be better off with Ja than Zion honestly)
