I agree the play calling probably looks a lot more like what we saw in 2019. That team was obviously special in the personnel we had, especially where we could do lots of different things without substituting due to Moss' & CEH's versatilities. Not sure we have that on 2024's roster so it will probably not look exactly the same.

But I think the types of plays will be similar with the ball going vertical regularly as well as intermediate stuff across the middle. Hopefully Nuss can do some RPO here & there like JB did so effectively when needed. Remember, we really didn't have a lot of designed runs for JD this past year, I think it was only in the mid-20s or so for the season. Most of his running yards came on scrambles. So they really don't have to call things a ton differently if they don't want. Maybe Nuss slides in the pocket instead of escaping & finds a check down.

I also hope they have Nuss working on that danged VR simulator hours a day over the summer so he is ready to read defenses & find the open man!

ETA: we also will have some stud RBs & a nasty OL, so we could see more ground & pound & play action as well.

Nuss has not demonstrated this kind of ability at all— Yet. Burrow was a machine out there.
