Well whatever on the spelling. I don't why the method that it arrives makes much of a difference. And if the strike is indeed real then it could just as plausibly be a bomb from a B2 or F35 as a cruise missile. And a drone strike is the exact same as every other airstrike minus a man in the cockpit.
Some times the DOD chooses a certain platform over another simply so everybody gets a fair chance to play with their toys. Maybe they chose the B2 or F35 just because someone was bored and wanted to do a "proof of capability."
