Something about those long irons. Used to carry a 1 and 2 in my bag but in the last 6 months just can’t hit them right. Hell below a 6 lately and just things are all yippy.
Saw a 7 wood at the play it again sports and almost bought it this morning.

I also haven't been able to hit a 1 and 2 iron right in the last 6 months.

I will use a 4 iron on a par 3 from time to time but that’s it.
I can easily cut 10-15 yards off the 7 wood if I need to.
You should give it a shot. I put the same shaft as I have in my 3 wood…just a little shorter.
