This is not 100% accurate. Obviously, it was the highest number of votes cast in an election, which should be expected as 2020 had the highest voting age population ever. However, if you look at the % of the voting age population that actually cast a vote, 2020 is still slightly less (62%) than the 1960 Presidential Election (62.8%) between JFK and Richard Nixon.
