Laughable how everyone was calling this guy soft and how they didn’t want him.
I want him but he does have some bad tendencies.
He has had multiple games, including the state championship game this year, where he looks like he is taking the game off. He looked the same when they played LCA.
I'm an Acadiana Alumni and I hope the guy blows it up at LSU but he will be at least a small bit of a project. His physical tools give him the chance to be elite.
And on another note, some folks have said his brother may end up being the better player in the end, and taking Dominick may be the best path to getting Darryus. I do not have any inside info there so it may be a West-Whit situation or it may be a Leanard-Lanard.

Haha Ive hated everything bama since before some of you were born. Doesnt change the facts…
This aspect can’t be ignored and definitely makes it worth making a big push for McKinley now, especially combined with the optics of dominating LA recruiting. These are seeds that can grow into better things in the future.
I wasn’t as big on committing the NIL that will be needed to land McKinley earlier on the process because of the common knocks on him. He has huge upside, but he’s likely not a day one contributor for a defense that needs at least depth support on the DL. But at this point in the process with no other options on the board for this class, he’s a take. Hopefully our next DL Coach sticks for a while and gets him on the field as a full contributor in year two.
