Last night it looked like a solid mass of clouds and now it's moving northward.

Any idea how massive a rain event it will be and when?

I'm 190 miles straight south of Houma. We have 14-16' seas with occasional 18's. Light rain and 35-40 mph winds ENE. Will be clearing out Sunday with a NNW wind coming.

This weekend. Not huge amounts, but enough for some flash flooding concerns. The Carolinas will have some surge issues with 50mph+ winds. Most of south Florida, including the Keys, have a conditional tornado threat tomorrow. Northeastern snow lovers are gonna be sad, just cold rain. Temp does drop as front passes through arter the storm.
