quote:

Nobody is actually a “satanist,” the only people who believe Satan is real are Christians.

So they aren't a religion?

It would be wise to actually define, then use definitions to make those decisions and not be afraid of the blow back.

quote:

Satanist only do it to get a rise out of Christians

So again, not a religion.

Additionally,

quote:

The temple says it “does not believe in introducing religion into public schools and will only open a club if other religious groups are operating on campus”.

So group who wants to keep religion and/or Christianity out of the public sector, wants to limit the moral influence of religion, etc. - does not specifically believe in Satan, but does exactly what he would do?

Do any of the defenders see the strange irony in all of that? And do any of the defendersnot realize that many of our modern issues come from a retreat of judeo-christian morals from general culture?

The only people who want religious clubs in schools are religious folks. Nobody wants the church of Satan in schools, but religious people fought hard to make sure they had the ability to do so.
