I bet Chicken Shack jacks up their prices big time when that Galleria Mall Abu Dhabi location opens. Y'all are beyond funny with your comparisons. You missed your opportunity to bitch about the lemonade prices. I'm positive some kid in your neighborhood has a lemonade stand sells them for 50 cents.

You're on a message board that revolves around a university located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. You're going to get some local Baton Rouge references from time to time. I promise it won't kill you.
But to put a finer point on it: my attempt at adding context was for the purpose of showing that this isn't a purely inflation based issue, though I'm the first to rail on inflation being out of control. Chicken Shack likely pays more for their chicken and sells it for less.
The difference, as you pointed out in your (albeit misguided) post is that Raising Canes is an empire built to make Todd one of the richest people on the planet. Anyone pretending as though year after year after year after year of Canes price increases isn't primarily to line Todd's pockets is either a fool, eaten up by politics, or both.

Go frick yourself. You're shitting on a company that has done nothing but good for Louisiana regardless of how rich it's made Todd. It's made many employees well off, too. It's given jobs to an enormous amount of people across the world...not just the nation. They also provide a slew of benefits whereas your small time restaurants don't. That shite isn't cheap or free. If you're going to shite on a hometown company then expect some push back from people that still like them and support them by purchasing their product.
