You guys convinced me to spend a couple days in Barcelona a few weeks back. I’m only there a couple of days but I want to cram in as much food as humanly possible. Can you guys critique my list of restaurants and foods to try?

Are you going soon? If so don’t waste time looking for gazpacho. That’s a summer dish.

Go to tapas 24 and get the sandwich called the Bikini. The whole menu is fantastic but that sandwich (ham, cheese and truffle) is incredible.

quote:

El Xampanyet
The quintesential Spanish tapas bar, a fun and atmospheric place. The night we were there, it was so packed we had to muscel our way to the bar. Go there for a little while to have a drink and a snack and soak in the atmosphere then go across the street for dinner.

There is a modern and upscale gourmet tapas bar right across the street that has better food and wine. Tapeo.
