I saw an interview with a guy who one of his verbal ticks was saying the N word, especially if there was a bad time to say it. He tried to cover immediately by saying "Nickel, Dimes, Quarters," but he'd always comeback to the N word. It was pretty sad, because he got his arse beat all the time. He wasn't faking it.


I work with a guy with it. He mostly clicks and moves his head. Occasionally, he'll do a loud knock, like you're imitating a home run hit coming off a bat. But he can do it super loud.
