I bet it wasn’t. I work with a young guy about 21 that has Tourette’s pretty bad. His thing is yelling but he doesn’t curse. He has some body motions also. Mostly it’s just a yell and throwing his head back. Just yesterday he came and visited me for a bit and he was having a bad day. He was actually slapping himself in the head when he would yell and jerk his neck and head. Occasionally he will have a day where he hardly reacts at all. He doesn’t really discuss having Tourette’s with anyone , we all just accept as he is. He is a real good kid.
