Where have you been. They want to transition to almost all power coming from the electrical grids and the grids powered by wind, solar, nuclear and hydrogen/ammonia.
The hydrogen would amount to energy storage, since it would be made through electrolysis of water powered by wind and solar mostly.
It's mostly just big talk at this point. But if battery technology advances to the point that giant battery storage is possible at utility scale, then wind and solar becomes optimal.
