As in luxury tax purposes right? This thread is all over the board with luxury taxes for the Dodgers vs personal taxes for Ohtani.

this is the only part I care about and I don't understand how MLB can allow it.
They are saying yeah you are paying him $700 million to pay baseball but since you are paying it in 20 years and it'll be worth less, you only pay luxury tax on 460million.
By the dodgers not having to pay that 700 million today, they can invest it as well. if anything charge them the luxury tax value of 70 million + interest
