He’s been a big name the last two years. Defense is the major problem in LA, but that staff is gonna be gone at the end of the year.

Does he get a head coaching job? Where does he land if he stays at the OC level? Or does he demote down to QB coach or something?

I read a rumor that he might be considered for the Panthers job.

Their defense is the major problem but the offense has gone backwards too with Herbert probably having his worst season.

Tepper is a moron so that sounds about right.

He shouldn’t Look what McCarthy is doing with the cowboys offense

Kellen Moore is the king of abandoning the run game. I was so glad when he left the Cowboys.

He’s now a well established member of the NFL coaching fraternity. He’ll probably have plenty of options in the offseason, but a HC job is a long shot.

His only problem is his coaching tree pedigree. The Scott Linehan/Jason Garrett tree doesn’t have any branches. Kellen doesn’t have a lot of old friends and associates spread around the league.

Not sure what he’s done to really elevate himself to get a HC job

Cowboys let him go because they felt he wasn’t going to get them there at OC, which appears to be paying off for them currently

He goes to the chargers to solve their strange offensive woes…..and they seem to be in the exact same place as they were last year

Not sure what owner is looking at that and being like yeah we gotta go get that guy

Kellen Moore is young and needs more grooming under an experienced offensive HC. His offense's running game stinks and he abandons it often even when he has talent in the backfield. He is most definitely not HC material yet, and people realistically trying to sell the idea are either crazy or stupid.

Kellen Moore was a hot coaching prospect a few years ago but he’s practically fallen off a cliff. Cowboys offense and Dak have been much better since he left, while Chargers and Justin Herbert have been terrible. He somehow made Herbert look like a backup. Kellen Moore doesn’t really know what he’s doing and at best he’s a positional coach.

the cowboys were 10-3 on December 11, 2022.

what's the improvement? the difference is that the cowboys beat the eagles with 2 games left of the season (without Hurts) last year instead of with 4 games left (with Hurts' worst performance of the season.)

also 5 of those games at this point came with Cooper Rush and not Dak. Rush only lost to the NFC Champ Eagles.

i'm not defending McCarthy OR Moore in this scenario. just spittin' facts.
