TCM has got Jacqueline Stewart and some gay little black film critic who’ve put together a 15 minute presentation on blackface/minstrel shows throughout history and how eeeeevilll they were. They show it between movies.

But straight hair isn't something exclusive to white people though.
But I've not seen anyone argue that dreadlocks is wrong.
But I would argue that painting your face a different color (white, black) for the purpose of representing a different race is wrong regardless of race.
