No it isn't.
Conservatives may not populism (I don't), but conservatives also don't run around whining about threats to our "democracy."
Liberals do, and liberals don't mind populism one bit. They've been arguing for populism for decades now.
They just like THEIR brands of populism. If they are claiming to be against populism, they're full of it and someone needs to call them on it.
