Being seeing all of the reports and videos of people slamming the trout. Tons of boats out there today very few people we saw catching. Only 3 trout for us today. Oh well, maybe next time!

Shrimp were thick there a few weeks ago. We've had a couple fronts since then. I work with someone was waxing them there for a period of time and last weekend got skunked. Time to turn to winter patterns.

Yea thats all you hear right now. Me and my dad took our yaks to Leeville, ended up with 10 keeper specks, 3 nicer white trout and 1 Red. About 2 dozen throwbacks. But I wouldn't say it was on fire. It was like 2 or 3 bites, lull, 2 or 3 bites, lull. Some lulls 20 min, some 30, 40 etc.
Water temp was 60 at daylight and was 68 at noon too.

Fished Delacroix on Friday. Got 2 man limits of reds along with about 15 either too big or too small. Also 3 big trout, 4 drum, 1 sheep & 1 bass. Couldn’t find the trout. All caught on live shrimp.

This is exactly the same as all of my recent Delacroix trips minus the big trout. Can not find the trout this year.

We went saturday and had a decent day. Think we had 19 keeper trout and probably threw back another 25 unders. Surprisingly no sheeps and only 1 rat red. We did catch 2 flounder which was a nice surprise. All on live or dead shrimp.

The wall and by the locks. Could’ve filled the boat up with blue cats too.
