you dont own the land, thats why you pay taxes on it. you dont own the deer, thats why you pay taxes on them. get the picture?

Then what the hell did I pay for?
And my son's license to hunt and fish on my land that I own in MS (live in TN) is right at $500.
I have a lifetime license, so not an issue for me.
