I could argue it either way between UT and OU. Either in the NCG is fine with me.

Nothing will change. There is too much money involved. The only thing that would work, and this will never happen, is if people started boycotting the games.

Got to agree w/ Stoops, all the Big 12 teams agreed before the season as to how the teams would be picked. To late to cry about spilled milk now...screw Texas.

Its funny you mentioned,'boycotting the games', as a part of me was curious as to when the fans would actually stand up and revolt!! (LOL) Bur seriously, Texas is flat out gettin screwed. I'm not a texas fan whatsoever, but the point is, this system is fricked.

BCS been berry good for LSU; 2NCs. If you went to Texas right now you:
1) would be getting a good education.
2) would be reaching for the Vaseline for the chapped arse sensation you would (justifiably) be feeling. Florida/OK matchup was probably the one the powers that be decided would make the most jinga.

My case for UT is they won their NC game and OU lost the last two(one by a blow out.)Plus the head up should be the deciding factor. Either way GO GATORS!

Texas is not getting screwed. They're getting a BCS Bowl game.

TX, OK, and TT all played one another. Each beat one opponent and lost to the other. Only one of these conference games was a blowout, OK over TT. Okie trumps Texas.

Oklahoma won the conference championship. Texas didn't win squat. What's so confusing? If you pick Texas, then you should be of the opinion that Georgia should have been in the CG last year.

It's not even the BCS as much as the Big 12 - they are the ones who decided to settle such 3-way ties with the BCS standings. If they would have had a different system for deciding those tiebreakers, Texas might have gone to the Big 12 CG instead.

There is no tie breaker the Big 12 could use that would be fair to al; 3 of those teams.
