I feel bad for FSU and at the same time understand that the committee is wanting to put best teams in the 4 and not have a blowout. I think FSU should replace UT instead of Bama though.
The conclusion that Bama should've been replaced instead of UT is incorrect IMO. Sure UT beat Bama but Milroe was terrible at the beginning of the season and was benched early on in the season. This Bama team is different now.
UT lost to OU in a rivalry game. Bama's loss to UT is much better than their loss and Bama beat the #1. I know, Bama almost lost to Auburn and needed a miracle.
So IMO if FSU was going to be in the top 4 it should've been UT that was left out.

The ironic thing is that - once again - the BCS would have handled this better than the stupid committee. Michigan and Washington would have gotten in and the gripes would have been much less.
That said, I fully expect the 3 and 4 ranked teams to win in the semis. That should help quiet the complaints.
