According to the Ohio State 247 "insider", he's being brought in as a center. Obviously as we previously discussed, he could slide to guard. But apparently that isn't the plan, at least to start.
Ohio State basically going all in for next year with most guys coming back and bolstering with 1 year only transfer portal starters.

Rucci has the frame of a #1 overall draft pick, but hasn't been able to crack the starting lineup for an average Wisconsin team in 3 years.

He was a disappointment. Not strong enough and poor use of hands have been the issues.
Ideally he would have have taken over LT so Nelson could move inside but that didn't happen. After Nelson was injured in the bowl game the drop off with Rucci was noticeable. Nelson coming back for another year sealed his transfer.
