Does anyone know his injury status? Will he be full go this spring. My memory is he was the #2 corner in the country coming out of high school.

What was so strange is that he started six games for a team that made the playoffs the year before. Yet in fall camp he was running with the third team. When he got hurt he was behind Zy, Chestnut, Denver, and Stamps. It is way more than a talent issue with this defensive staff. They can’t even get the talented ones on the field.

They didn't have starters or backups. He got hurt on like the 3rd day of fall camp while they were evaluating the cornerback room that consisted of almost entirely new players.
Fall camp started Thursday, August 3. Johnson was seen in a cast on Monday, August 6.

He broke his leg as I remember. He should be able to intercept many passes next year.

Minus the injury, he would have played significantly for LSU this year. Just another handicap on the defensive side of the ball.
I think he maybe tries the NFL. But he doesn’t have a lot of playing time to show.
