I think he'll do well in explaining policy differences and the results coming from it. What I'm completely unsure of is his ability to sell it well in this environment. Gavin is slime but he knows how to play this game.
I keep coming back to Kennedy vs Nixon. People listening on the radio thought Nixon won. People watching saw a clear victory for Kennedy. Charisma matters to a viewing audience.

I think the differences between the self-awareness of those people then and the vast majority of these we see now can barely be put into words. Particularly with the likes of Newsom, arrogance has engulfed and overwhelmed them, so much so as to disallow any level of rational thinking…..much less contingency planning in the event of failure or adversity. They have no idea that failure is a distinct possibility. That last part is why they always seem to be shooting from the hip.

You have to assume Ron has prepped for this as though he could end up reading his political obituary in the morning. He knows good and well what hes up against. Im pretty intrigued to see what his A game looks like in this situation

You can guarantee Newsome will throw low blows to Ron. I’d rather hear about policy and what you WILL do. Call out the Democrats! Their schite is not working and never will for the country. If Ron wants to be the big guy, tonight is where he needs to stand up.
