I really can't understand why Wade is so polarizing to LSU fans. But he is.
It's strange to me too. It's like they're happy Wade is gone and LSU Basketball is back in the trash can.

Actually, the reason is pretty simple.
Many who support Wade greatly overexaggerate his level of success and ability shown at LSU. That, in turn, creates an opposite reaction of those who don't support him greatly underexaggerating his level of success and ability shown at LSU. Neither side wants to back down and admit they are BOTH (partially) wrong. So they just continue to yell louder.
Unfortunately, Wade's early success at McNeese combined with McMahon's complete lack of success at LSU only strengthens the pro-Wade crowd's fervor....much to the chagrin of the anti-Wade crowd
