Just let the schools pay athletes directly as employees of the school instead of dealing with the complexities and ridiculousness of NIL, collectives, and transfer portals. If the market says a college player is worth $10 million dollars, that's fine. Just sign them to a 4 year employment contract for 10 million dollars. Contract employment exists in all areas of business, including sports and entertainment.
