Seventh Ward-area shootings leave 6 wounded and at least 1 dead, NOPD says The New Orleans Police Department have responded to two separate shooting scenes in and around the Seventh Ward on Monday afternoon.

He's dead now but I was friends with an old school NOPD cop back in the day. Whenever murders would spike he would just nod and say "let the bad guys keep picking each other off."
