I hate that people are doing this and have very little chance of getting caught or punished.
Luckily I have only one little story...
Went to Autozone last week to get a windshield crack repair kit. I get home and go to open the container and some lowlife had cut it open with a razor blade and taken the resin out and glued it back together.
They gave me no issues on doing a swap out for a new kit, but annoying to have to deal with.

I bought an oil filter from Walmart one time that was used. It had been drained completely before resealing the box, but the gasket was worn and there was dirt and grease all over the housing and the gasket. I mean, who takes the time to drain a used oil filter and return it to Walmart?
I’ve had used windshield wipers a couple of times. They never complained because I always wanted an exchange instead of a refund.
