I think he ends up at WR for two reasons.

A) He is not a better passer than JJ.
B) We can't keep him off the field. So we'll play him elsewhere.

he is the type of player that needs to have the ball go through his hands every play. he will be qb. And, why put him at receiver if/when we have (fingers crossed) debose to fill the homerun hitter role at wr.

I hope he plays QB because we desperately need a really reliable one for a change. JJ is developing but if JL plays next year our coach is an idiot. JL should transfer to a smaller school and start over.

Let's just let him get to camp and compete with Lee, Jefferson, Garrett, and Hatch. Whoever wins a five way QB battle is pretty good. Out of those 5, one of them should bring some stability to the position. Here are a few comments about each.

Lee: quick release, stong arm, bad descion making. Willing to give him another shot next year if he cuts down on the ints. and just calms down.

JJ: Strong arm, has some mobility that could be compared to Flynn. Needs to work on his throwing motion, as he has a big Bryon Leftwich like windup. Seems to protect the ball better than Lee and will scan the field for receivers.

Hatch: decent runner, no arm stength. Not really anyting that you havn't already seen before. Probally won't be a factor next year.

Shep: phenomanal runner, makes plays with his feet and arm, and doesn't throw many interceptions on the h.s. level. Pretty good throwing motion. Like Lee, he doesn't scan the field based on his videos. Unlike Lee, he can run well so he has some options if no one is open.

Garrett: Best qb in Mississippi. Big, strong armed QB that doesn't turn the ball over. Could be a very good prospect but might have to wait for a couple of years. In ideal situation, he should be redshirted.
