It doesn't matter, Santa Claus is an imaginary character.
If you told a 3 year old white child the story of Santa, he'd probably imagine it as a white man. If you told a 3 year old black child the story, they'd probably imagine it as a black man.
Just because the first cartoon you saw had a white santa doesn't mean it is "right"
It is a STORY, meant for children's imaginations, it is in the eyes of the listener.
