Thanksgiving feel good story.
Cliffs:
Last minute trip to grab some things.
Heard screaming, mom looking for kid, 1000% frantic, running screaming her name. Primal sound. Scary.
Over the next several minutes:
It was so bizarre. Everyone was either asking what’s going on or saying “missing kid.”
Then, got more info on description and pretty much everyone in the store, the essential Walmart melting pot of people, turned to searching. So, as we (me and son) are quickly looking we’re seeing others searching too and we’re also telling other people passing the info.
The mother is screaming the name and running this whole time.
Locked down the store.
Someone shouted they found her. Everyone erupted clapping.
Happy Thanksgiving.
More detail but trying to keep it concise.

Twas more controlled chaos than destruction or disorder. Actually surprisingly controlled once people knew what the deal was.

Nothing more terrifying for a mother (or parents) than a lost child. Poor mother.
Thank God they found her.

I once took home a cooler that had a big chunk of meth wrapped in the side pocket. Walmarts.

How old was the child?
No idea. I ran got close enough to the mom to get hair and clothes in four words and that’s it. It was all quick weird and kinda hard to properly describe.
