So I talked to my agent. I have a few strikes against me at the moment.
1 - 2009 Roof (Gustav). She crunched the numbers with a new roof and it would save me $2k/year. I was advised to get it inspected after the next hail storm.
2 - 1% wind/hail currently. At a 3%, I could save $500/year. Not worth it IMO
On the plus side, I am able to move my auto to their new system and save $120/month with no change in coverage. That helps offset this increase for sure.
I also have a call in for a quote with Shelter. Curious how that compares.

How long until that roof claim disappears off your record?
