On average, not many. So for use as a town car that range is fine. But I do have a regular need to take 5 to 6 hour trips on the interstate in the southern US.
It’s funny—I see a good number of Teslas around town where I live. They look great. But out on the interstate I hardly ever see them.

Yeah I would definitely have to keep a gas vehicle if I ever bought an EV.
I saw a stat from 2021 that said 76% of EV owners also own a gas vehicle

I don’t have a Tesla. But my understanding is that when you plan a long trip, it will map it all out and tell you the optimal charging stations to stop at along the way. The super charger things charge pretty quickly, but obviously still not as fast as gas.
