It'll never be an issue for me. Tesla batteries come with an 8 year warranty, and I'd never keep my main car for that long. Wife and I always have 2 cars, the backup option is generally one we've had for a while but our 1st option we upgrade every 3-5 years or so on average, never going over 5 years.
