Anyone think he'll go to the HOF?

I think Clemens was better (not a knock), but Maddux was certainly a man who made the absolute most of his talent. I don’t think there’s ever been a more cerebral great pitcher. When you think of the all-time, inner-circle Hall of Fame, great pitchers, you tend to think of power pitchers like Koufax and Gibson. I hate to use this word, but Maddux is probably the “craftiest” pitcher of all time.

He is a Hall of Fame lock. Enjoy your retirement.

1st Ballot no doubt.

Me and my buddies used to argue over who to start if you had to win one game: Clemens or Maddux.

Definitely the best pitcher of his generation and one of the best all-around baseball players to play that position of all time.
