Kraft telling bill what a great heart Hernandez has…Bill just kind of nods in agreement but you can tell he’s like “no dude is a piece of shite”

Even so, Bill was like as long as he’s playing lights out and giving our team the best chance at winning who cares what’s going on off the field. Bill is all business, but who can blame him?

I’m trying to figure out why stallworth is so prominent in this

Yes, and I thought Gronk would’ve been featured more since they were both TE. I’m guessing they weren’t close.

Eps 7 and 8 were almost poalr opposites. The Deflategate Ep may be the worst in the series so far. It just kind of felt out of place as some wacky, looney goose chase masquerading as a witch hunt played out in the press. I know why they had to cover it, but the whole episode was just off tonaly than the rest.
But Ep 8 may be the best of the series so far. How they presented the Atlanta super bowl as almost a battlefield epic was just genius.
Also may have the best lines of the series so far. The Pioli story about being in the Suite with all falcon front office personell and then blowing a gasket to them about how Brady is basically going to snatch their souls was summed up the Brady legacy probably better than anyone else.
Pioli has just been a great interview. Howard Bryant was well, and I dislike him greatly, but he made the entire thing so much more Shakespearean.
I'm sure the final 2 eps are all basically Bill vs Tom, plus the Malcolm Butler benching in the Super bowl.
Should be very interesting.

How lucky are the Patriots to get a goal line int. one Super Bowl and then that amazing catch by Julian Edelman in the next. Everything lined up perfectly for them.
I always knew BB was rigid, but man, I didn’t know how hard and incessant he was on Brady. It portrays him as a douchebag for his coaching style. Edelman said it best, Brady was an abused dog who kept coming back.

This docuseries was made very well, entertaining and kept me engaged. After watching through, I have deep respect and appreciation for Robert Craft and Tom Brady’s character and work ethic.
Why didn’t Belicheck play Malcolm Butler in the Super Bowl?!?! The world waits.

I'm a little surprised all the parties consented to the interviews and the way the entire show was slanted.
It wasn't all rosy the way the Patriots were portrayed for all the success they had.

No doubt. That Brady-Belichick relationship dynamic sure was awkward since everyone else noticed it too.
Oh, my one main gripe in the last episodes was how the docuseries pretty much blamed the beginning of the Patriots downfall on the drama around Trump/Kraft/Belichick/Brady. Really, come on?!?! TDS much?

It clearly caused issues in the locker room and the players all pointed at the hypocrisy which I thought was 100% fair. BB has always been closed lipped even about things that were relevant on the field so breaking his own rule in at the time the most divisive way possible was very much a do as I say not as I do moment.
Growing up as a Miami fan from childhood I never liked the Pats even when they were losers I just disliked them more when they were winning. I acknowledged their collective and individual greatness but didn't have to like them. From the series, I started to genuinely like Tom and the other players interviewed as well as Robert Kraft but Bill is just a POS and an oddly insecure human given his stature in his profession. That said who knows if Brady would have been the Brady we know without the abusive "father" relationship.
Well done series as with most Apple shows.

Bill is likely a prick no doubt but this definitely seemed like the last season or two caused this doc to take a turn and make him the bad guy.
I did forget about the bizarre Malcom butler shite though. What are the conspiracy theories behind that ?

I remember hearing one theory/rumor that Butler got into it really badly with Patricia. Another theory was Butler was due a new contract and Bill wasn’t gonna pay up so things went off the rails.
The fact that he was on the sidelines and suited up just to play 1 snap never made sense to me. Over the years I’ve convinced myself that Belichick was just being a dick and wanting to prove a point.
