I had 4 dogs from a trailer that bordered our property.
When we first hunted the property there were deer everywhere. You would see 15 + in each food plot. FF to 4 years ago these dogs show up. They ran deer all day and night. We started seeing 2-4 deer on each field and SPOOKY as hell when they would come out.
These dogs have been removed for the last year and a half. Our sightings have increased dramatically
Some say dogs won’t hurt. I think it’s might have to do with the frequency and the drive of the dog to actually run a deer and how often/how far. Some strike fear in the deer and some the deer pay no attention to.
The ones we had would not stop. It wasn’t a quick game to them. It was a lifestyle.
Glad they are gone!
BTW, they moved so I didnt have to do anythng drastic.
