Pokémon is a big lock in for Nintendo, should we get involved with that?
No offense but a single game on a proprietary platform is a far different situation than apple abusing their popularity to co-opt a standard that was in place for over a decade used by EVERYONE before their phone hit the market.
It was done to deliberately make life miserable every single non apple phone.

How is your life on Android dependent on just better texting options to less than 30% of the cell phone market? You guys are over playing the importance of this, I’ve never gotten upset of a green bubble or blue bubble. If I am sharing photo or video, I am doing it somewhere else. Hell Google makes that really easy with shared albums and such.
Oddly enough Nintendo makes up about the same market percentage on consoles. Pokémon is just one game in the vast catalog that is locked into Switch. Video game market is loaded with other examples of anti consumer behavior. Console companies paying for sole rights of certain games, delaying releases on other consoles, all to protect their market share.
