LSU Scored 2nd Highest Point Totals on Florida and Bama - 21

Only two teams scored more than LSU did against both Bama and Florida. Georgia scored 30 against Alabama and Ole Miss scored 31 against Florida.
LSU scored 21 against both teams. LSU also went up and down the field against Alabama, totaling over 400 yards. We did this with a RSFR QB that couldn't stop throwing INTS.
I am just saying this because we need to give our offense some credit. We averaged 30 points a game WITH the major QB problems. If we get a good DC and our QB's have another year under their belt, this could be a very good team next year. We will surprise some people.
And for Gary Crowton:

Ole Miss I think scored either 21 or 24 on Bama.

I'm not trying to claim a moral victory. My point is just that it is amazing how well we did offensively considering what we had to work with at QB. It is a building block for the future and something that should inspire confidence - for all but the negatigers.

If the QBs improve over the off season i think LSU will be fine. Imagine if we had a decent QB this year. 9 maybe 10 wins.

Thanks for the observation---offense does look like less of a question mark this year AND averaging 30pts a game should equal more wins with a solid defense. Oh well, this season is almost in the books.

You can talk qb's all day. BUT the O-LINE was pushed around all year. Ark had the WORST rushing D in the conf and Scott couldn't get crap. Thats NOT the Qb's fault!!!!

If our defense could have made a few stops our offense would have had more opportunities to move the ball and score. It puts pressure on the offense to score quickly if the defense keeps allowing seventy yard drives for scores.

And we put up 41 on N. Texas.
Oh wait, UL scored 59 and Rice poured 77 on them.
