Why would Jeff Traylor cause a meltdown?

Your boosters are paying a collective $100 million to get rid of Jimbo and company and you don’t think there would be a meltdown when his replacement is a first time p5 coach that doesn’t have a track record of p5 recruiting or success?

Honestly?
No, I don’t.
And I’m one of those boosters.

I don't. They hired Sumlin from a G5 program when he was a hot name, and they were moving to the SEC.

All they care about is winning. If they think Traylor is a good fit, I doubt their fans melt down. Especially since swinging for the fences didn't work out with Jimbo anyway.

You think a P5 head coach is required?

Better programs than A&M have gone G5 head coach or P5 coordinator: Texas, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Florida, Florida State, Oregon, Washington.

Traylor would be a great hire for the Aggies, which is why I don’t expect them to do it.
