App continuously drops, very delayed volume control. This is a single speaker, albeit an older speaker, and it runs on the latest app (the gold one). Rebooted everything, better but still drops connection and volume control lags , just less frequently
Your wifi probably sucks. Everyone has shitty wifi and doesn't know it.

I had a pretty great deal of trouble at one point with a pair of the SL (or something like that) speakers until I plugged them into wifi

But…my wifi didn’t suck
Actual 200mbps WAN with 100mbps backup, the speaker was line of site from a ceiling mounted Unifi AC Pro AP that has no significant interference (2 AP in an 8K sqft office. There is semi-poor WiFi in one part of the office, but not here, and there’s not much overlap from the 2 AP. The second speaker is under the other AP, coincidentally. They just couldn’t be found until I eventually plugged them both into Ethernet. So, to some extent, I feel this guy’s pain, but once I sorted it out, it’s been zero problems, rock solid reliability.

Of special note: the amps work fantastic with Apple AirPlay. I had some outdoor patio speakers at my place. I can AirPlay to them and listen to what’s streaming on my AppleTV (like a Saints or LSU game) while I’m out back grilling. It’s a neat feature. It doesn’t work worth a darn on the wireless speakers though. It’s my one big complaint.
