In town for the Saints game. I’ve read some prior threads with general recs (North Loop / area around UM) but what are some good spots to watch the games tomorrow? Looking for more lively atmosphere than good beer or something like that.

If atmosphere matters most, few ideas:
- Graze in North Loop has quite a few TVs lining the walls, both upstairs and downstairs. Usually a good weekend crowd. Also, just a good neighborhood to hop around in.
- Cowboy Jack's is in North Loop but closer to immediate area of downtown. It's a massive, three-floor bar with a big crowd and a lot of TVs.
- There are a few sports bars on Hennepin across the river - Mac's and Ray J's. Could be good stops if you'd like to swing on over to Dinkytown. Only downside with Dinky is Gophers @ 2:30pm, so you may have trouble finding other games at that time. If you do go, hit Sally's or KK. Both will be jammed with college kids, though.

My recommendation: don’t go. Also if your last name is Chauvin, they don’t let you in the stadium. Be warned

I have yet to go...but Tom's watch Bar downtown has a lot of TVs and primarily built as a sports bar. Seems to be a nice set up.
